The desert of Namib in the south-west of Namibia is considered as the oldest desert in the world. At the bottom of the orange dunes of Sossusvlei you can find the « vlei », thoses acients lakes that form white sand areas. The most famous is « dead vlei » and its dead trees at the bottom of the huge dune 45.
